We have installed photovoltaic panels in our warehouses to achieve energy self-sufficiency to reduce emissions in our hubs.
In 2021 we started in our new hub in Milan, then in 2023 in the one in Bologna, where we have already made electric car charging stations available for our employees and visitors.
The green path that One wants to pursue is precisely the electrification, over the next few years, of both private vehicles and those we use for the distribution of our goods, which are already being used in historical centres. And in the meantime, the conversion to Euro 6 and 7 vehicles of our Affiliates already proceeds apace. Green pallets does not only mean electrification, but also offsetting our emissions by planting trees on the territories of all our Affiliates, covering the entire Italian peninsula. This project, which we have called One Forest, is still ongoing with the association Natù, active since 2020 in the donation of trees to Italian municipalities, which has helped us to publicise the initiative in schools and raise awareness in the communities where we have branches, and above all in our Affiliates.
Involving young people and their families in these environmental issues is crucial for a decarbonised future.
