Our 15th birthday event was the most exciting ever: it took place on Saturday 23 September in the forecourt between the two One Express hubs 9.6 and 9.7 at Bologna’s Interporto from 9am to 6pm.
Where the trucks of our Affiliates usually whizz by day and night in loading and unloading operations, with a set-up in record time we created a space designed for the enjoyment of all families.
The attendance was astonishing: over 1700 guests including Italian and foreign Affiliates, employees, collaborators and suppliers!
Together we relived the bell’epoque with jugglers and street artists, admired the Maestà della Battaglia flag-wavers, created personalised gadgets in the macramé stand, enjoyed gastronomic delicacies in the Food Area with pizza, pasta, cold meats, cheeses, fried food, grilled meats, arrosticini from Affiliate One Pescara, Polish specialities with ACP Global Forwarding, quality fruit and vegetables, and a drink bar without limits…
Lots of music with the band and the live concert by Anomalia 21, and at the end all with their noses in the air to admire the show of an extraordinary acrobat dancer from the Sonics and then everyone dancing until the end of the party!
Our guests were able to see at first hand the innovative tools that guarantee the quality of our work: our apps and forklifts that identify weights and measures of all goods, and our sponsors displayed their solutions to improve the everyday work of our Affiliates.
An unforgettable day, especially for the children, with unlimited popcorn, candyfloss and ice cream, as well as plenty of entertainment: a miniature train, inflatables, a horse-drawn carousel, old-fashioned games… and, as a surprise, the special appearance of Spiderman!
In the presence of representatives of the institutions and the municipalities of San Giorgio di Piano and Bentivoglio, the winners of the Quality Award received a work of art signed by Eugenio Lenzi, and the big hearts of all participants, thanks to a charity lottery, collected donations for the paediatric disability association Dis Hub.
