First of all, the uniformityof customs and
the abolition of duties and charges having
equivalent effect to customs duties within
the common market and the establishment
of a single customs tariff for trade with
third countries. It also provides for the pro-
hibition of internal taxation, directly or indi-
rectly discriminatory, on products imported
from other Member States. Lastly, there is
a ban on quantitative restrictions on trade
between Member States.
For the One Express circuit, the EU has
been a great opportunity. Think of the sim-
plicity of the exchange of goods with the
other Union member countries eliminating
all the bureaucracy still needed for exchanges
with third countries, such as the documen-
tation to be presented to customs and the
additional costs that customers are required
to pay, such as the customs costs and the
costs to be paid by the recipient for the cu-
stoms clearance of the goods.
With reference to the One Express circuit,
if the United Kingdom's EU withdrawal
process begins, probably in the absence of
bilateral international treaties regulating the
exchange of goods with the United Kingdom,
we will have to conduct ourselves as we do
today with non-Union member countries, as
far asdocumentation and additional costs
are concerned. This could cause a decrease
in the exchange of goods with the UK, with
negative effects on our economy and on
theirs. However, such a negative change is
still far off, as the withdrawal process is
very complicated and very long.

Per il circuito One Express l’UE è stata una
grande opportunità. Si pensi alla semplicità

dell’Unione e al superamento di tutta la
burocrazia ancora necessaria per gli scambi
con i Paesi terzi, come la documentazione da
presentare alla dogana e i costi aggiuntivi che
sono tenuti a pagare i clienti, quali il costo
della dogana e il costo a carico del
destinatario per l’entrata delle merci.
Con riferimento al circuito One Express, se
inizierà il processo di recesso del Regno Unito
dall’Unione Europea, probabilmente in assenza
di trattati internazionali bilaterali che
disciplineranno lo scambio di merci con il Regno
Unito, dovremo comportarci come facciamo
oggi con i Paesi terzi, quindi produzione di
documentazione e costi aggiuntivi. Ciò potrà
causare la diminuzione dello scambio di merci
con il Regno Unito, con effetti negativi sulla
nostra e sulla loro economia. In realtà, tale
negativo cambiamento è ancora lontano, in
quanto il processo di recesso è molto
complicato e molto lungo.
